I see a LOT of top 10 heathy snack photosets, but this one is definitly one of my favorites because:
- Everything on this top 10 list is Vegetarian (so I can eat it)
- I have a secret Avocado obsession, and LOVE the idea of blending things.. anything! I love my blender! I use it EVERYDAY, sometimes twice! (note to self- find avocado smoothie recipe and blend something later)
- The healthy snacks on this list are realistic for REAL people to cook, and don’t take 75983752983457 hours to prepare (really who has time to prepare a 40 minute SNACK???) Not me!
So add these to your lists of healthy snacks that I hope you have all began putting together and have stapled to something in your food cabinet to look at often!
If you have a list of healthy options to choose from, you’ll be less tempted to go for something that isn’t so great.
As long as you only eat a bit of it, it shouldn’t be a problem though. Proportions are key!
(I need to write an article about proportions later. Food porportions in America are SO distorted and out of control and most people are so used to it they don’t even know how much food they’re being served and consuming! Soon to come, I promise!)
Happy snacking everyone.

Back on track. Down 11.4lbs today. I have been drifting so it feels good to still be slowly making my way back.
Today I plan to:
Bike 30 min
walk 30 min - maybe - might just bike another 30.
My new Polar HR rocks my world!
I started a new med today. I really hope it doesn’t make me gain weight. That would make me really sad.

Awesome visual!
For those of you who think a “measly” few pounds is nothing, think again! That’s AWESOME! =)
I was feeling bad about my 5lbs, but I feel better now!
I haven’t been posting a lot. I started a new job and the weight loss was thrown off for a few weeks, but I didn’t gain and thats what matters. I am getting close to getting out of the 180s and that makes me really happy. the 180s is where I go when I tell myself I am okay with being chubby. My body at its healthiest has been in the 170s. I know by the end of this journey my chubby weight will be the 160s and my healthy weight will be the 150s :-)
